Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may and may not do with VaultYou. It forms part of our Terms of Service. The goal is simple: keep the platform safe, fast and trustworthy for every Australian business using it.

You may use VaultYou to run your own business, including to:

• manage your customers, quotes, invoices, expenses and documents;
• track compliance dates and prepare information for your accountant or BAS agent;
• ask the AI Coach questions about your own business data; and
• invite people who legitimately work in or for your business.

You must not:

• break any Australian law, or use the Service to facilitate fraud, tax evasion, money laundering or the issuing of false invoices;
• attempt to access another business's workspace, records, files or account;
• probe, scan, penetration-test or interfere with the Service without our prior written consent;
• circumvent authentication, rate limits, usage limits or security controls;
• upload malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing or infringing;
• scrape, resell, sublicense or white-label the Service or its output without permission;
• reverse engineer the Service except to the extent that right cannot lawfully be excluded; or
• upload personal information about others that you have no lawful basis to hold.

AI features are provided for genuine business use. You must not:

• use automated tooling to generate high volumes of AI requests, or resell AI capacity;
• attempt prompt injection or other manipulation to make the AI ignore its safety instructions;
• use AI output to generate misleading financial statements, or to represent AI output as professional advice; or
• submit content you are not entitled to send to a third-party processor.

AI requests are rate limited per account to keep the Service responsive for everyone. Hitting a limit is not a fault — wait briefly and try again.

Storage, file uploads and API requests are subject to reasonable fair-use limits. If your usage materially affects other users, we may contact you, apply limits, or ask you to move to a plan suited to your volume.

If you spot abuse, or believe you have found a security vulnerability, email security@vaultyou.com.au with enough detail to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to fix an issue before disclosing it publicly, and do not access or modify data that is not yours while investigating.

Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached we may warn you, throttle or restrict features, suspend the account, or terminate access. We will act proportionately, and where practical we will contact you first — except where the breach is serious, unlawful or ongoing.
