1.Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of VaultYou at vaultyou.com.au and any related applications (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you are using VaultYou on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
VaultYou is currently offered as a private beta. Additional terms apply during the beta period — see Beta Terms.
2.Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
3.Your data stays yours
You retain all ownership of the business information you put into VaultYou — your customers, quotes, invoices, expenses, documents and notes ("Your Data").
You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display Your Data solely for the purpose of operating and supporting the Service for you. We do not sell Your Data and we do not use it to train third-party AI models for anyone else's benefit.
4.Acceptable use
You must use VaultYou lawfully and reasonably. Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms and sets out what is not permitted, including abuse of the AI features and attempts to access other businesses' data.
5.No professional advice
VaultYou provides general business information, calculations and productivity tools. It is not accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, financial, or legal advice, and no client relationship of that kind is created by using the Service.
You remain responsible for the accuracy of your records, your GST and BAS positions, your lodgements and your compliance obligations. Confirm anything material with a registered tax agent, BAS agent, accountant or lawyer. See the AI Disclaimer for how this applies to AI-generated output.
6.Availability and changes
We aim to keep VaultYou available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, upgrades or events outside our control.
Because VaultYou is under active development, features may be added, changed or removed. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes that materially reduce functionality you rely on.
7.Fees
The private beta is free and no payment details are collected. If paid plans are introduced, we will publish pricing and give you notice before any charge applies. You will never be charged without first opting in. See our Pricing page.
8.Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure, AI model providers and (where you connect them) external business tools. Your use of a connected third-party service is governed by that provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
9.Suspension and termination
You can stop using VaultYou and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where we must do so to protect the Service or other users.
Export anything you need before closing your account. After deletion we may be unable to recover Your Data.
10.Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to those rights, the Service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, or loss or corruption of data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to resupplying the Service or the cost of resupply.
11.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia and the courts able to hear appeals from them.
